Young Stars Elite is a charity football club based in Tower Hamlets

London Young stars elite is a grassroots registered charity football clubs based in Isle of dogs, Tower Hamlets. The charity was formed in 2019 with the idea of using football to help deter and detract kids and yoiung people away from gansg and crime within the local area. Our trustees wanted to create a club where kids would be safe and could develop and have fun in an environment that is about supporting the local community.

In 2019 we was awarded the FA Charter Standard Status. In 2020 we finished out development plan of where we aim to be in 5 years and was awarded the FA Charter Standard Development Status. Our aim is to now be FA Charter Community club, the highest award available. This shows the commitment and drive we have as a club to make real difference.

Being based in Isle of dogs, Tower Hamlets, we know first hand about the affects of poverty and crime and how it impacts the whole community. With our knowledge and experience and years in football, we decided to create a club where, despite the negatives surrounding us, the kids and young people would feel wanted and supported and have a pathway to develop their sporting talents and dreams

We aim to give the kids and youth a platform to play and enjoy football regardless of their ability as well as make new friends in a safe and fun environment and help get them away from the gang and knife culture plaguing our communities. Our doors are open to everyone regardless of colour, gender & religion, so why not come and see what we have to offer.

As well as football, we also offer yoga sessions for adults and over 50’s to promote health and wellbeing and to encourage keeping active no matter your age. We run a number of projects which bring families together, raise awareness around matters affecting our lives, mentoring programmes and holiday clubs.

As a local charity, we aim to be the go-to club in the community where we can offer our members anything from sporting projects, sign posting and recreational hub. We work very closely with our sponsors and corporate partners to ensure we can provide and offer the best possible services for our members and the local community as a whole.

Our doors are open to everyone regardless of colour, gender & religion, so why not come and see what we have to offer.

Our motto is: WE DON’T LOSE WE LEARN!
